Real connections start at the doorstep. Join the people who already live beside you — same Feed, Neighbours, Groups, and Messages you use in the app.
In the app, creating an account takes three quick steps: personal info, sign-in details (email or phone), and home address — so we can place you on the right neighbourhood map.

Your home address tells us which block you belong to — so we can connect you with the right neighbours. That is the same message you see on the NeighborWave sign-up screen.
First and last name — how your neighbours will know you in the app.
Email or phone (at least one) plus a secure password — same fields as on the Create Account screen.
Search your address, use current location when you are home, or enter it manually. Street privacy and an optional welcome post work just like in the app.
This landing page describes the same bottom navigation and features as the NeighborWave mobile app — Feed, Neighbours, Groups, Messages, and Profile.
The home tab: nearby posts from neighbours — morning, afternoon, and evening greetings, help requests, sharing, giveaways, borrow requests, community messages, announcements, alerts, and more.
Discover people near you and recognise the ones who make the block better — nominate neighbours for titles like Helpful Neighbor, Community Leader, and Good Morning Champion.
Join or create local groups, browse group feeds, invite others, and keep conversations scoped to communities you care about.
Direct messages with neighbours — with unread badges on the tab so you never miss a conversation.
Post help requests with urgency and compensation options; show what you can offer from your profile so neighbours know how you can help.
Control street visibility, interests, skills, blocked users, and support — plus account options that match how the app treats your neighbourhood data.
Examples line up with post types in the app — from help and alerts to greetings and giveaways.
Post a Help Needed request — neighbours see it on the Feed and can reply or message you.
Wave to the block with morning, afternoon, or evening greetings — just like the greeting chips in the app.
Use Neighbours and optional welcome posts when you sign up to introduce yourself to people beside you.
Sharing, giveaway, and borrow posts help you pass things on locally without leaving the neighbourhood.
Lost pets or safety notes spread quickly when neighbours see an Alert on the Feed.
Block parties, HOA notes, or general community chat — Community and Announcement style posts keep everyone in the loop.
Sample quotes for the site — swap for real feedback from your community when you have it.
I moved to a new city and didn't know a soul. Within a week on NeighborWave I had a dinner invitation from three different families on my block. Unreal.

We organised a street cleanup for 45 people in under two days. The Feed and Groups made it feel like a big group chat with everyone on the block.

I lost my cat and posted an Alert. Within 20 minutes a neighbour spotted him two streets over. I was in tears — the app is a lifesaver.
